Here are answers to some of the most common questions we get

How do I play?

Primetime is completely free to play, so once you've downloaded the app (and possibly turned on push notifications), all you have to do is wait for the next round. You see the start image in the Primetime app when the next round is. All players play against each other at the same time, so it is important not to miss the first question of the game round. If you answer wrong, or miss answering a question, you're out for that round but can keep watching and maybe learn something new! If you answer all 11 questions correctly, you will share in the prize pool.

How do the lifebuoys work?

The lifebuoy is your salvation for the extra clever questions. If you answer a question incorrectly, you can, up to and including question seven, choose to use a lifebuoy after you have answered incorrectly. If you press the lifebuoy, you automatically proceed to the next question. You can use one lifebuoy per round.

How do I get lifebuoys?

You get lifebuoys when you invite friends to the game. Once they have registered, you will receive your lifebuoy. Should you not receive a lifebuoy even though your friend has registered, ask the friend to send us a message via the form below with both of your usernames and we will sort it out. You also get a lifebuoy when you play four days in a row, and sometimes we give out lifebuoys to everyone who plays a certain broadcast. Make sure to play every round simply!

Why can't I write in the chat anymore? My chat messages don't seem to be coming through?

If you've been blocked from chatting, it's because you did something we didn't think was okay. Primetime's chat is a place where everyone should feel welcome. Hate, threats, racism, sexism, homophobia and general boring tone are not accepted and after every broadcast we block players who do not behave. If your messages are not always visible in the chat, it does not have to be because you are blocked. When many chat messages are written at the same time, we can only let a certain number through so that the pace of the chat can be read. Try writing something when fewer people are inside and you will see that it works!

It says my reply could not be registered due to bad connection, but my connection is great right?

Our streaming service is sensitive to interruptions in the connection, even short-term ones that you yourself may not notice. If you have problems with your answers not being registered, you can try switching between Wi-Fi and your mobile network to see which works best.

How do I register for closed special quizzes?

When we have closed special quizzes, we always post a notification link in your inbox in the Primetime app a few days before broadcast. Check out the home page here to see if there are any closed quizzes to sign up for!

Can I change my username?

Yes! Submit your current username, phone number and new username through the form below and we'll help you as soon as we can.

I haven't received my winnings yet.

It can take up to three weeks for your winnings to be paid out to the account you specified. If three weeks have passed and you still haven't received the money, you can contact us using the contact form below.
